Okay, I've made the fixes to the two functions that Nick submitted and rolled up another tarball. I haven't received any other bug reports so I'm going to assume that the bugs are effectively squashed for this release.
I recently got an email from a Chinese user. He had installed bashblogger on his remote host and was updating his site via putty.
Apparently, he had not set the correct codepage in putty and all of his entries were showing up as question marks from a directory listing on the remote server. At least I think that was the problem, I sent him a link to what I thought was the fix and I haven't heard back from him yet. So, we'll just assume that info fixed the problem.
I've talked with Nick about updates. My wife and I are still getting our schedules wrapped around our newborn, baby girl, but, I plan to release every two weeks until I get the TODO list done. Once a month on the outside. We'll see how that goes.
Also, I've added a paypal donation button to the linklist on the side. I'm sure a bunch of you will think it's tacky, or that I'm a jackass begging for a handout. That's not where I'm coming from. If you use bashblogger, and you'd just like to buy me a beer in appreciation, make a donation. There's no minimum donation amount and it's not recurring. That's pretty much all there is to it.
